Meet Our Leadership Team

Nichole H. Nicolas, Ph.D.
Founder, CEO, & Principal Consultant
Dr. Nichole Nicolas is the founder and principal consultant of Vision Blueprint, where she brings more than 27 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, organizational strategy, fund development, and capacity building to the organizations and founders she serves.
Before launching Vision Blueprint, Dr. Nicolas spent 13 years as the founder and executive director of College and Career Pathways, a nonprofit organization serving students and families in the Washington, DC area. That experience—building an organization from the ground up, navigating the operational realities of nonprofit leadership, and growing annual revenue by 24x—shaped the practitioner perspective she brings to every client engagement.
Her consulting work spans organizational strategy, operations, systems design, board development, fundraising infrastructure, program development, and staff training. She holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland, College Park and a B.A. in Mass Media Arts (Journalism) from Hampton University.
Her work is driven by a simple conviction: The right systems, guidance, and support can change the entire trajectory of an organization.
Hans Nicolas
Chief Security Officer (CSO) & Principal Technology Consultant, VBIT
Hans Nicolas leads Vision Blueprint IT (VBIT), the cybersecurity and systems readiness arm of Vision Blueprint. He brings more than 13 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise and federal environments—across defense, healthcare, manufacturing, and government—and holds an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
His expertise spans vulnerability management, enterprise patch coordination, endpoint engineering, cloud and identity administration, and privileged access management. He has managed remediation programs at scale across thousands of endpoints, built governance infrastructure for regulated environments, and supported compliance across some of the most security-sensitive organizations in the country—including the Defense Information Systems Agency, Walter Reed National Medical Center, and the Joint Strike Fighter Program.
Hans brings that same depth of technical experience and operational rigor to nonprofits and small businesses through VBIT—helping organizations identify vulnerabilities, strengthen systems, and build the security foundation they need to operate and grow with confidence.
