Empowering Nonprofit and
Small Business Leaders
Vision Blueprint was founded by Dr. Nichole Nicolas, a business consultant and coach with over 20 years of experience in organizational development and leadership, training, and technical assistance. Her goal was to develop a comprehensive, but easily accessible platform designed to empower aspiring and established leaders in the nonprofit and small business sectors to build and sustain organizations with the systems and processes needed to operate effectively and efficiently in the long term. With the launch of The Vision Blueprint, that aspiration became a reality.

Today, Vision Blueprint supports a wide variety of new and established leaders through the VisionLAUNCH Program for aspiring leaders looking to launch their organizations, and VisionEDGE, for leaders of existing organizations that can benefit from the development of more structured operational systems.

FAQs
I have been operating informally for a little while--which Vision Blueprint program is a good fit for me?
Either VisionLAUNCH or VisionEDGE could potentially work well for you, but it will depend on your organization's stage of development and how much of its infrastructure you have already created. Take the "Your Perfect Program Quiz" to determine which program is best for you.
Why do the "Elite" packages cost more than the standard ones?
With the Elite packages, you are also paying for the time and expertise of your coach, provided twice weekly---once during your one-on-one check ins and again during your group sessions with your cohort.
When will I be able to officially launch my organization/company?
Your exact launch date will depend on you and your organization/company, but the VisionLAUNCH program ranges from three to six months long (depending on the option you choose). Some founders choose to conduct a soft launch while they are still engaged in the program, while others wait some time after the program ends to make it official. For nonprofits, one of the most significant determining factors may be your receipt of your 501(c)(3) confirmation letter.
I'm an aspiring nonprofit founder, when can I start raising funds for my organization?
The point at which new nonprofit organizations can legally begin raising funds varies significantly depending on your compliance with state and federal regulations. Typically, before you can start fundraising, you will need to incorporate your nonprofit, obtain an EIN, file for federal tax-exempt status, and complete your state's charity registration process. You should also confirm that you comply with any additional state and local requirements for fundraising (e.g., obtaining a business license, compliance with local solicitation laws, etc.).
Will VisionLAUNCH or VisionEDGE teach me how to write grants?
Both VisionLAUNCH and VisionEDGE (for nonprofits and for businesses) include a section on fund development. However, because both VisionLAUNCH and VisionEDGE includes such a comprehensive array of content, there is not enough time in the allotted time period to engage in-depth instruction regarding specific fundraising strategies. We do, however, offer a Fundraising Masterclass.
